1 YEAR TEAM
MaryJane Victor

Hello everyone! I'm MaryJane Victor and I'm thrilled to be a director for the CJSPA. I'm 14 years old and live in Souris PEI. My family started raising Speckle Parks in 2017 under Red Rock Farm. I began showing them in 2021 with my 4H club. I've had the privilege of showing Speckles at the Royal and Agribition. When I'm not in the barns you can find me playing goalie for Ringette PEI or playing softball and volleyball. I'm excited to be part of the CJSPA and look forward to promoting the breed.

Sam Haley

Hi everyone! My name is Sam Haley. I am from Springford, Ontario, where my family and I run a cow-calf operation. I have been in the Speckle Park community for 2 years now and have been showing cattle for 5 years. I am very excited to join the Canadian Junior Speckle Park Association board. I think I will be a good board member because I am very involved with younger kids in the show community and I am very focused on them being more involved. I have been around the cattle industry ever since I can remember from cow-calf to showing here in Ontario in 4H and Open Shows, and have always loved it. I had the pleasure of showing in Oklahoma this year, and cannot wait to go back. The Speckle Park community in the States was just as welcoming and friendly as the breeders I have met here, and the competition was awesome. I am involved in 4H and currently the president of the Oxford County Beef club and I was Vice-President last year. So I have experience public speaking and leadership in the industry. I will bring my skills to the board to learn more about where this breed is going, and how to help get it there.

Cameron Ormiston

My name is Cameron Ormiston and I am 13 years old. My family owns a beef farm in Omemee, Ontario. We have always raised purebred Shorthorns but when I was 9 I decided to build and sell birdhouses so I could buy a Speckle Park. I saved enough to purchase two heifers. My parents and siblings fell in love with them immediately and our Speckle Park herd has been steadily growing ever since. I have shown cattle all across Ontario in both open shows and 4-H, including the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. I am passionate about Speckle Park cattle and I strongly believe in supporting youth in agriculture. I have enjoyed being part of such a welcoming and encouraging community of breeders and I am excited to help bring new ideas, get more youth involved, and contribute to the future growth and success of the Speckle Park breed and the CJSPA.

2 YEAR TEAM
Cheyenne DeGraaf

Hi, my name is Cheyenne DeGraaf. I'm 17 years old and currently in high school. I have a small herd of Purebred and commercial speckles in Ontario. My family purchased our first purebred speckle in 2017. I currently work for a dairy/cash crop farmer, were I manage the dairy herd. I joined 4-H in 2018, I have shown Speckle Park heifers every year since then. I look forward to further involving myself in the breed and learning more.

Cagen Sauter

Hi friends!

Most of you have known me since I was born, or at least heard my mom shout my name across a barn alley, but allow me to formally introduce myself.

My name is Cagen Sauter. I raise Speckle Park alongside my parents (Prairie Bell Speckle Park) and grandparents (Second Chance Speckle Park) near Fairlight, Sk. I’m 15 years old, an active 4-H member and volunteer within my community. If I’m not in the barn, I’m Mcguyvering something in the wood shed, or simply relaxing at home with my pets.

I’ve been excited by the progress and achievements of the CJSPA over the recent years and I’m honoured to accept the position as a director in 2026. I’m looking forward to this opportunity to contribute my ideas, learn from others and represent Speckle Park youth perspectives across Canada.

I’m normally shy, and certainly not the most talkative one in my family, but I know I can bring value and enthusiasm to this group!

Emily Watson

Hi my name is Emily Watson! Alongside my family, I manage our purebred Speckle Park operation consisting of approximately 120 Speckle Park females in Branchton, Ontario.

I’ve had the opportunity to sit on the CJSPA Board for the past two years as President and have thoroughly enjoyed working with all the incredible Juniors that are involved with the Speckle Park breed! I am excited to continue to help promote the breed in the Junior sector and encourage more young people to get involved within the cattle industry. I am very passionate about the Speckle Park and love the opportunity to further develop the Junior opportunities within it. I am very grateful for the opportunities that the CJSPA has provided to me, and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to represent this membership of incredible juniors once again!
